Rutledge Elementary School

Located in the Avery Ranch neighborhood of northwest Austin, Texas, the Rutledge Elementary School serves children in kindergarten through fifth grade. Pre-kindergarten also is offered. Rutledge Elementary School is located on Staked Plains Drive, approximately one mile west of the Kelly Reeves Athletic Complex and West Parmer Lane. The elementary school is part of the Leader Independent School District and offers a range of academic opportunities plus extra-curricular activities. The Stiles Middle School serves grades 6 through 8 and is part of the Leader Independent School District. The middle school is located on Barley Road and just off Ronald Reagan Boulevard, about six miles north of the Avery Ranch community. It’s minutes from the Southwest Williamson County Regional Park. The Stiles Middle School offers extracurricular activities that include athletics and Fine Arts, plus clubs and organizations like Student Council, the Chess Club, and cheerleading. There also are year-round opportunities for adults to volunteer including serving as a PTA member.
Vista Ridge High School

Discover the Vista Ridge High School, located on South Vista Ridge Boulevard less than three miles north of Avery Ranch. The high school is part of the Leander Independent School District and serves grades 9 through 12. The home of the Rangers has a full range of athletic teams from football and softball to golf, track, and swimming. England Elementary School

England Elementary School, named for local educator Elsa England, sits less than three miles east of central Avery Ranch. The school is located between Avery Ranch Boulevard and TX-45, just off Pearson Ranch Road and adjacent to the Pearson Ranch Middle School. The elementary school serves kindergarten through fifth grade and has more than 1,200 students. The England Elementary School opened in 2012 and offers a range of classes that include art, music, and physical education. A pre-kindergarten program also is available for younger students of the community.
Pearson Ranch Middle School

The Pearson Ranch Middle School, home of the Rattlers, is part of the Round Rock Independent School District (ISD) and located on Pearson Ranch Road. The schools serves grades 6 through 8 and has an enrollment of almost 1,000 students. From the homes at Avery Ranch, this middle school is less than three miles east and it sits adjacent to the England Elementary School. Pearson Ranch Middle School opened its doors in 2017 and in addition to academics it has athletic teams, Fine Arts, and a range of student activities.
McNeil High School

McNeil High School, part of the Round Rock Independent School District, serves grades 9 through 12. The high school opened in 1992 and is located on McNeil Drive just east of West Parmer Lane and approximately six miles south of the homes at Avery Ranch. McNeil High School is the home of the Mavericks and has more than 2,600 students from the Austin, Texas area. The school offers a full curriculum of academic challenges plus sports, fine arts, ROTC, and dozens of clubs for all interests.
