The Avery Ranch neighborhood in Austin includes community amenities that offer residents convenient access to activities and local groups. The Avery Ranch Main Amenity Center or MAC is located on Morgan Creek Drive and Avery Ranch Boulevard. This central facility is a gathering place for residents and home to a full-size basketball court, five lighted tennis courts, a kids’ playground, and a swimming pools with eight lap lanes. The pool is the home site for the Redfish Swim Team.

Throughout Avery Ranch there are beautiful green areas, parks with playgrounds and pavilions as well as additional sports courts and recreational swimming pools. The Avery Ranch Golf Club is in the northeast quadrant of the community, 18-holes with stunning views to enjoy. Avery Ranch also has several access points to the Brushy Creek Trail, ideal for hiking, biking, and jogging. It’s easy to get out and enjoy the Austin weather when living in Avery Ranch. 

6 Neighborhood Pools

Avery Ranch has six neighborhood swimming pools open to its residents and their guests. The Main Amenity Center (MAC), located on Morgan Creek Drive and Avery Ranch Boulevard, features a Junior Olympic-size pool with eight lap lanes plus pavilion and sun deck. The MAC pool is the home site for the Avery Ranch Redfish Swim Team, a competitive and recreational summer team for kids of all ages.

Other Avery Ranch community pools include facilities at Pearson Place, Waters Edge, and Granite Shoals located on Staked Plaines Loop. Granite Shoals features two 18-meter adult lap pools plus a covered toddler pool and mushroom water feature for kids’ splash time. With several pools throughout Avery Ranch, there’s always a place to dive in and have fun. 

5 Neighborhood Tennis Courts

The Avery Ranch community spans more than 1,800 acres in northwest Austin, Texas. Its premier location that includes the main thoroughfare of Avery Ranch Boulevard provides residents with easy access to a wide range of shopping, dining, and entertainment options. However, residents also have a full selection of amenities right in the neighborhood, just minutes from each home. For tennis enthusiasts, Avery Ranch is a haven that sports five neighborhood courts.

Whether it’s the first time picking up a racking or the 100th, tennis in Avery Ranch is something everyone can enjoy. In addition to playing a game with friends and family, the community also has the Avery Ranch Tennis Club (ARTC) that offers a range of programs for all neighborhood residents. The tennis club is based at the Avery Ranch Main Amenity Center tennis courts and has programs for kids and adults including mixed-doubles leagues.

Avery Ranch Golf Club

The picturesque Avery Ranch Golf Club is part of Avery Ranch, a master-planned community spanning 17 acres in northwest Austin, Texas. The 18-hole course designed by Andy Raugust features rolling hills, meandering streams, and stunning views that can’t be missed. 

Situated along Lake Avery, the Avery Ranch Golf Club features two putting greens, a chipping green with practice bunker, and a practice range with two-tiered tee box. Stop in the Pro Shop, take a lesson at the J.L. Lewis Golf Academy, and have a relaxing meal at the Sunset Bar & Grill. It’s all on-site and easily accessible to all residents of the Avery Ranch community as well as Austin locals and visitors to Texas Hill Country. 

Amenity Center & Playground

Avery Ranch located in northwest Austin, Texas offers residents a sprawling community with single-family homes and on-site amenities. The Avery Ranch Main Amenity Center, known as MAC, sits centrally located on Morgan Creek Drive and Avery Ranch Boulevard. It’s a hub for the whole neighborhood, a gathering place for fun and activities to entice all ages. 

The Main Amenity Center has three swimming areas, including the Junior Olympic-sized pool the Redfish Swim Team uses. Residents can also enjoy the kids’ beach pool and a swimming area complete with sun deck. This main site features a children’s playground, a sand volleyball court, a full-size basketball court, and five lighted tennis courts. The Avery Ranch tennis club has leagues for kids and adults plus offers lessons. Avery Ranch has activities available for everyone and everything is just minutes from home. 

2 Basketball Courts

The amenities at Avery Ranch provide residents and their guests with a wide selection of activities and fun, year-round. In northwest Austin, the Avery Ranch community includes multiple residential neighborhoods that boast beautiful parks, swimming pools, and both tennis and basketball courts. At the Avery Ranch Main Amenity Center (MAC) there is a full-size basketball court open to all residents and the site of many resident pick-up games. The MAC is at 14100 Morgan Creek Drive. 

Because Avery Ranch is a large community within Austin it has several facilities that serve as neighborhood amenity sites. These include another court at Pearson Place Park located just off Double Eagle Pass and Ivalenes Hope Drive, south of Avery Ranch Boulevard. The Pearson Place Amenity Center also is home to tennis courts, a swimming pool, and playground, and pavilion. 

Brushy Creek Trail Access Points

The Brushy Creek Trail spans more than 10 miles across northern Austin and its suburbs. The trail links residential neighborhoods like Avery Ranch to parks and retail areas with places to shop and eat. The trail has both concrete surfaces as well as areas with crushed stone. The winding trail offers a motor-free space for walking, jogging, biking, and in-line skating. 

Residents of the Avery Ranch neighborhood enjoy several convenient access points to the Brushy Creek Trail. These points include the 183A Shared Use Path Trailhead located east of Cluck Creek and north of Avery Ranch Boulevard. Residents can access the trail along Dodge Cattle Drive and at the Staked Plains Loop. There’s also an access point at Castletroy Drive and Muskberry Cove. A trailhead opens at the Brushy Creek Sports Park located east of the Avery Ranch Golf Club and West Parmer Lane.
